Cutting will be required if I want to submit "The Beauty in The Black
Room"---the erotic short story I've been writing---to Hot Ink Press for consideration for the Halloween anthology.
Knowing I was going to go over the 10k work count regardless, I decided
to keep writing and see how many words I got. I ended up with 10,905. So
after work today (yep, crazy me stayed up way past my bed time to
finish!), if I'm not too tired, I will have to read through it from the
beginning and see what I can trim out.
